Mission & Vision
Mission: Our mission is to foster education and health for African populations. To do so we empower African women; equip African Youth; and Enable African development in healthcare by engaging Africans on the continent, Africans in Diaspora, and Good-willed non-Africans in collaborative high impact projects.
Vision: A globally beneficial African Renaissance. A re-awakening of the African continent characterized by socio-economically empowered African women, unleashed potential of African Youth, and health equity. A global echoing of a renaissance ethos that embraces the wholesome values, untapped potential, and outstanding accomplishments of Africans as seen through collaborative efforts that bring about positive social change in communities worldwide.
Approach: We emphasize a collaborative approach engaging individuals and groups in mutually beneficial ways
Application of Mission Towards Fulfillment of Vision
A-RA partners with Africans on the African Continent, Africans in Diaspora & Goodwill Non-Africans to implement four core programs:
Engaging individuals, communities, organizations, and institutions in needs driven services to orphans, epileptics, and the elderly in Africa.
Enhancing the global Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of a diverse group of students and young professionals through service projects that support African development
Equipping African Youth for productive careers after school through: registered extra-curricular programs that nurture/unleash talent and creativity, constructive debates about major issues affecting the world today with perspective on career and life after graduation, and community service.
Enabling Development in Healthcare by mobilizing AiD for improving the health of African populations.
Empowering African women by providing collateral—free micro-loans for small businesses, which provide sustainable income for the healthcare and educational needs of their families.
